Global Information Security Professionals of Pakistan (the “Association”).
The Association is a not-for-profit organisation established for public benefit, operating independently and without political or religious affiliation.
The primary objects of the Association are to operate exclusively for charitable and public benefit purposes by:
(a) Advancing education and knowledge in information security, cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, and related disciplines through professional development programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, publications, and research initiatives.
(b) Encouraging continuous learning, skills development, and professional certification among information security practitioners.
(a) Supporting, connecting, and representing Pakistani information security professionals residing in Australia, New Zealand, and globally.
(b) Promoting ethical conduct, professional standards, and best practices in information security and cybersecurity.
(c) Facilitating mentorship, career development, and leadership opportunities for professionals, students, and early-career practitioners.
(a) Promoting cybersecurity awareness, digital safety, and resilience for the benefit of the wider community.
(b) Contributing to national and regional cybersecurity capability through engagement with industry, academia, government, and community organisations.
(c) Supporting inclusion, diversity, and equitable participation within the cybersecurity profession.
(a) Establishing cooperative relationships with educational institutions, professional bodies, industry partners, and government entities consistent with the Association’s objects.
(b) Encouraging research, innovation, and knowledge exchange in information security for the public interest.
(a) Doing all lawful things incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
4.1 The Association must apply its income and assets solely towards the promotion of its objects.
4.2 No portion of the income or assets of the Association shall be distributed directly or indirectly to members, officers, or related persons, except as bona fide compensation for services rendered or reimbursement of expenses incurred on behalf of the Association.
5.1 The Association must not distribute any surplus assets to members upon winding up.
5.2 In the event of the winding up or dissolution of the Association, any remaining assets must be transferred to one or more organisations that:
- have similar charitable purposes,
- are not-for-profit,
- and prohibit the distribution of income or assets to members.
6.1 The Association shall operate in accordance with:
- applicable Australian Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation,
- ACNC governance standards (if registered),
- and its Constitution and internal rules.
6.2 The Association must maintain transparency, accountability, and sound governance practices.
